Sergio Aguero Continues His Fantastic Run Of Form

City edged Tottenham 1-0 at White Hart Lane behind Aguero's goal, as the sniper simply cannot stop scoring at the moment.

City defeated Tottenham 1-0 at White Hart Lane, securing a massive three points to remain second in the table. Once again, Sergio Aguero's name appeared in the box score. With five goals in the last four games, Aguero has more than made up for his mini-drought when he failed to find the back of the net during the month of March.

Manuel Pellegrini spoke highly of Aguero after yet another strong performance:

"Sergio played very well.

"But I think he's playing well because he's playing now every game, not like last year or the beginning of this year, when he had so many injuries that he had to stop."

Defender Eliaquim Mangala reiterated just how clutch City's No. 16 has been:

"His goal was another big one today.

"I see him every day in training, and in every game, and he has so much quality."

Aguero finished off a perfectly executed counterattack led by David Silva for the game's only goal. He has now tallied 22 Premier League goals this season.
