On the back of City's 4-1 thumping over Sunderland on Boxing Day, the Blues travel to the King Power Stadium to take on a 2nd place Leicester side that have only lost two matches this season. One of those came this past Saturday at Anfield, so perhaps we are catching the Foxes in a bit of poor form. With a win today, City would leapfrog Leicester on goal difference and sit one point behind Arsenal, who are on 39 points.

The lineups:
City XI: Hart, Sagna, Otamendi, Mangala, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Toure, De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling, Aguero
City subs: Caballero, Demichelis, Horsfield, Zabaleta, Navas, Iheanacho, Bony
Leicester XI: Schmeichel, Simpson, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, Inler, Drinkwater, Kante, Mahrez, Vardy, Albrighton
Just about the lineup you would expect given current injuries. Aguero replaces Bony, but that is the only change from the weekend against Sunderland. As usual, Mahrez and Vardy will be the key men for Leicester as Kante and Drinkwater run the midfield.
