Hope everyone has enjoyed a good holiday period so far! And let's hope those good times keep rolling today, as City host Sunderland in the annual Boxing Day fixture. City need to end this slide of poor form and today would be a good day for that. City currently sit six points behind Leicester, while Sunderland have struggled their way to 19th.

A few changes for City then. Wilfried Bony comes back in for Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling replaces Fabian Delph. The biggest news, however, is on the bench: the skipper is back. That's right, Vincent Kompany is on the bench alongside a host of other senior players, making this the first time in a loooong time that there isn't any youth on the bench.
Former Blue Adam Johnson starts for Sunderland, but American DeAndre Yedlin is not in the team.
