Manchester City will be without six key players for today's critical UEFA Champions League Group D clash in Turin against Juventus.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini addressed the injury situation on Tuesday.  Wilfried Bony, Vincent Kompany, Samir Nasri, David Silva Eliaquim Mangala and Pablo Zabaleta are all unavailable for selection on Wednesday. This leaves Pellegrini with a serious selection headache at several positions - The Blues have one fit striker (Sergio Aguero as Kelechi Iheanacho is ineligible for this match), zero fit creative midfielders, two fit centerbacks and only one fit right back.

Pellegrini said in relation to the injuries:

"We have a difficult situation with too many injured," Pellegrini said.

"In defence, we have Zabaleta., Kompany and Mangala injured. In midfield, Nasri and Silva, while in attack, Bony is out.

"I hope that David could be involved in the game at the weekend. I'm not 100% sure but he has improved a lot in the last two days - I also hope Bony will be fit.

"It will be difficult for Vincent (Komapny) and  Mangala to be ready for then and Samir (Nasri) is out for four or five months."

Kickoff of the match is scheduled for 8:45pm local time tonight in Turin.
