Sergio Aguero spoke with the official Manchester City website about facing off with former teammate James Milner and Jürgen Klopp this Saturday against Liverpool.
"Regarding James, I read that, unfortunately, he suffered an injury playing for England." He said. "I hope he's able to recover. He's a great player though it will be odd to see him wearing another team's colours.
"He is a true professional and I'm sure he's going to come against us with everything he's got. It should be a great game. Jürgen Klopp has come in and he's a great addition to the Premier League.
"I've stated before that it's a good thing that the best players and managers come to England - it makes it one of the most competitive tournaments in the whole world.
"Klopp did a great job at Dortmund and that secured his spot in the Premier League. I'm sure he'll have the time he needs to adapt.
"The truth is playing against tougher opponents makes us all better at our jobs."
Aguero who has trained well this week could feature on Saturday for the first time in a month after an injury.
