Mike Ashley's Newcastle pay City a visit in today's fixture at The Etihad. Still without a win, the away side will no doubt be buoyed by a good performance last weekend against Chelsea, a 2-2 draw. That unexpected result sees Newcastle now in 19th place, though Steve McClaren's seat remains undoubtedly hot. The Magpies also did not fare well in this fixture last season, a resounding 5-0 win for City.
On the flip side, City are looking to end a two match winless run in the league and follow up the midweek win against Monchengladbach with three more points. With a win today, City could return to the top of the table tomorrow as United and Arsenal clash at The Emirates in a key match.

Only one surprise here, and that's Pablo Zabaleta returning to the starting XI for Bacary Sagna. The Frenchman has had a very fine season so far but Zaba was always going to return to the lineup at some point. We need to get him back up to speed, if not anything else. Mangala also returns after his recent injury. Birthday boy Kelechi Iheanacho is on the bench and will hopefully get a run out at some point. And given that Manu Garcia is the only actual CM on the bench, looks like he's got a good chance for minutes as well.
Thoughts on the lineup? Comment away!
