Apologies for the brief post on this topic but severe time constraints are limiting to about five minutes free time this evening. No links either unfortunately (tricky when in the ipad) but it seems that City are close to signing Wilfried Bony from Swansea with Wales Online suggesting talks are fairly advanced.
The fee? Various outlets are reporting it to be in the region of £25-30 million but no clue as to the structure of the deal - whether an initial loan and the balance in the summer (similar to Alvaro Negredo's with Valencia) - or if it would prompt City to offload any players as a consequence.
As for Bony himself, is it a good move? I need to think a bit more on this but many are high on him, although some would prefer a move for Christian Benteke.
I'll have more tomorrow when time permits (we may even have a deal confirmed by then) but for now have at it in the comments.
