It may well go right up to the deadline but it appears that Scott Sinclair will move to Aston Villa during the January transfer window, on loan at least according to The MEN who are reporting that Sinclair has passed a medical ahead of a move:
The winger, who has failed to break into the first team since his £7million move from Swansea in the summer of 2012, is understood to have passed a medical and there are now just formalities to complete before he signs.
Sinclair has made a total of 19 appearances for the Blues since his move, three of them starts, and this season has played just 25 minutes in four substitute appearances.
The report also suggests that fee of around £2million has been agreed for the move to be made permanent this summer.
UPDATE:
The Birmingham Mail at least appear less than enthused at the prospect of Sinclair's imminent arrival.
