City have named their 25-man Premier League squad with little or no surprise in the names on the list.
As the MEN reports, the 'unwanted' John Guidetti, Scott Sinclair and Matija Nastasic are all eligible - although it does now appear that Guidetii wil be able to make his move to Celtic after they were cleared to sign him after all. This could also mean that Sinclair may see a clearer path to first team action following Guidetti and Alvaro Negredo's departures.
The full squad, per the MEN:
Overseas (17 allowed): Caballero, Zabaleta, Sagna, Kompany, Mangala, Demichelis, Kolarov, Navas, Fernando, Toure, Fernandinho, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Jovetic, Dzeko
Home-grown (8 allowed): Hart, Wright, Clichy, Milner, Lampard, Boyata, Sinclair, Guidetti
Under-21 (unlimited): Nastasic, plus EDS squad
The MEN also muses over the Champions League squad, which should be confirmed tomorrow (Friday) following UEFA ratification. They suggest that Negredo's departure makes the task that bit easier with regards to the non-homegrown quotient, although given his current injury he would likely not have made the squad regardless.
