Hot on the heels of this comes the news that Vincent Kompany is the latest to commit long term to City. Kudos to Txiki Begiristain indeed.
As I've mentioned elsewhere, City are doing an excellent job in tieing up the key and core pieces of their squad: Zabaleta, Toure, Aguero, Nasri, Silva and now Kompany. Next up, Hart and Dzeko?
Here's Kompany on the new deal:
