Manchester City's first friendly of the U.S. tour kicks off tonight in Kansas City against Sporting KC. A matchup between the reigning Premier League and Major League Soccer champions, the game is set to kick off at 9 p.m. EST (2 a.m. BST) from Sporting Park.
For those in the States, the game will air on ESPN2. Elsewhere, a stream should be available for you on the club's official site and hopefully they've ironed out whatever has caused streaming issues thus far in the summer.
Currently holding a one-point lead at the top of the Eastern Conference, Sporting are fresh off a vital weekend for the club. They defeated LA Galaxy on Saturday and, perhaps more importantly, finalized contract extensions for U.S. internationals Matt Besler and Graham Zusi, who were hinting at European moves.
City's game is just one of a few friendlies on Wednesday night's schedule, though, with Toronto FC-Tottenham beginning the pack of evening games at 7 p.m.
In Fenway Sports Group's favorite meaningless annual game, Liverpool and Roma also play at 7:30 in Fenway Park on NBCSN.
Following the City game, attention can turn to the Rose Bowl, where Manchester United will face hometown LA Galaxy at 10:30 p.m. in what will be Louis van Gaal's first match patrolling the sideline for United.
From harsh overreactions to anything City do to trolling Liverpool and United, feel free to use this thread for any conversation on this fine night of very important football.
