Negredo out for "a few months" with a fractured metatarsal

The Spanish striker broke the news on his official Instagram account, as seen below:

I want to let you know that its going to be hard for the next few months, I fractured my 5th metatarsal and will be out a few months. I will be back stronger than ever.

With City likely needing to start faster than last campaign, and given the (now constant) injury concerns around Aguero and Jovetic, it's startling news for City.

Perhaps though, it provides John Guidetti his long awaited entrance to City's first team, himself having been confirmed for the Club's preseason US tour.
