Today's schedule:
Colombia v Ivory Coast, 12pm EST (ESPN), Group C, Brasilia
Uruguay v England, 3pm EST (ESPN), Group D, Sao Paulo
Japan v Greece, 6pm EST (ESPN), Group C, Natal
Great games all around, as long as Greece shows up. Luis Suarez should be back and starting for Uruguay against England as both teams are desperate for a win to keep their hopes alive. Yaya Toure and the Ivory Coast could take a big step towards qualification for the knockout stages with a win against Colombia, who will be looking to make a statement once again. Japan v Greece presents an interesting match; I think Japan are a quite good, well-disciplined side, but Greece were limp and lethargic in their opener, so it's tough to decide what to expect here. If Greece show up, it should be another great game.
City players in action: Yaya (Ivory Coast), Milner (England), Hart (England)
Former Blues in action: Francois Toure (Ivory Coast), Greek Jesus [Samaras] (Greece), Sturridge (England)
Player I'd love to see in City Blue: James Rodriguez (Colombia)
