World Cup Day 5: Open Thread

Three matches on the slate today:

Germany v Portugal, 12pm EST (ESPN), Group G, Salvador
Iran v Nigeria, 3pm EST (ESPN), Group H, Curitiba
Ghana v USA, 6pm EST (ESPN), Group G, Natal

There are no City players in action today but of course there is the mighty USA! I'm looking forward to the sure-to-be strange feeling of seeing lots of folks head to the bar to watch the match after getting off work for the day. That will be a first for this country. I'm certainly glad to be in DC today.

(Note: I have no clue who that is in the picture, it's just some random American fan in Natal)
