City v Southampton: Teams And Game Thread

A tricky looking fixture for City this lunchtime, against a Southampton side who have caused them problems at times since they regained their Premier League status.

With Sergio Aguero still on the sidelines (perhaps held back for next weekend?) the starting line-up has a familiar feel to it, and it is interesting that City have fielded the least number of players of any Premier League side this season with 23 (as shuddertothink referenced in this tweet earlier this week).

The early kick off at least gives City a chance to put points on the board and exert a little pressure on both Chelsea (who play later today) and Liverpool (who do not play until Sunday afternoon).
