TSR
This is each teams share of the shots count. Tied tells us about a teams share of the shots when the score is tied. Close is when the score is tied or within a single goal. Total is all game situations (0-0's or 5-1's etc).
Man City kill it at Close & Tied & Total & Score Adjusted. Liverpool are 6th. West Ham are bottom 3 by Close TSR.

SoTR
Chelsea edge out Man City, Liverpool rise up to third (score effects boosting shot accuracy?) and Southampton look pretty darn good here. Good managers and improving players tend to post good numbers.
Usual suspects at the bottom. More on West Ham in a moment...

PDO
So West Ham are bottom 4 in most of the shots categories we just looked at, which isn't very good at all. Thing is West Ham sit in 11th place with 37 points gained. How can a team post such a low shots share number but gain so many points? West Ham have the third highest PDO in the league, powered by a preety high save%. Maybe there's some tactical effects with West Ham that push their PDO number so high (there's some hints in the final table)

This table has been posted before, it takes each team factors in how many minutes the play has been in the attacking, middle, and defensive zone per game.

Zone Efficiency
This table takes the time spent in each zone and the shots and shots on target generated in the attacking and defensive zone and we can calculate how many shots and shots on target per minute each team generates on both sides of the ball.
Liverpool and Newcastle are really efficienct shots teams (countering?). Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and Everton are really efficient shots on target teams.
Remember the previous words on West Ham? West Ham's Shots efficiency (facting in O and D zone time and shots for/against) is the worst in the league by a distance. But West Ham's shots on target efficiency, while poor, isn't nearly as terrible as we may have expected. Are West Ham allowing their opponents to camp in their territory and outshoot them but somehow able to limit opponents shots on target numbers?
