I guess it's as good a time as any for us to start on a winning streak again. With nothing but Premier League games remaining for the rest of the season, it's time for the team to refocus themselves on the remaining 12 matches. With 3 games in hand to make up, there is still a chance that we can win the Premier League, but that margin gets slimmer each week.
Team news: Sergio Aguero is out for at least 2 weeks, although Manuel Pellegrini is hopeful that it won't be too long. At this point, I would rather have him wait until he knows that he is good to go, rather than trying to come back too soon. We obviously need him, but we need him to be at his peak in order to close out the season.
Matija Nastasic is still out, and I can't seem to find any update on Stevan Jovetic. Last I heard he was out with his hamstring issue, but I haven't seen a timetable or anything. Other than those 3, we are all in pretty good health.
Squad prediction: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Yaya, Nasri, Silva, Dzeko, Negredo.
With both Aguero and Jovetic out, I expect Pellegrini to play the two tall guys up front. With both of them playing, that usually means Kolarov at LB to bomb in some crosses. Also, it usually leads to Nasri and Silva playing, as the middle of the field needs more numbers. The only selection I would change is playing Micah at RB instead of Pablo. I still think he can be a valuable member of the team, and it might behoove Pellegrini to keep him happy.
Prediction: I think it's going to be a bumpy start, but expect things to start clicking. Man City 2 Hull 1
