All tables set to Close Game State.
TSR
This is each teams share of the shots count. Tied tells us about a teams share of the shots when the score is tied. Close is when the score is tied or within a single goal. Total is all game situations (0-0's or 5-1's etc).
Man United remain below 50% at Tied.
City and Chelsea have some seperation from the rest of the league at Close.
Fulham, Cardiff, West Ham, Sunderland and Stoke are adrift at the bottom of the table at Total.

SoTR
Shots on target share -- especially at Close -- captures some of the dominance that Liverpool have over their opponents that TSR simply doesn't catch.
The top 4 teams by SoTR at Tied are pretty familiar. I'm guessing the ability to outperform opposition in terms of shots on target when the game is tied is pretty important.
Cardiff are so bad they make O'Neill's 2012/13 Sunderland look positively good.

PDO
Standard, all-situation PDO this week.
City's scoring% is regressing but an improvement in save% is keeping the PDO high.
West Ham's 4 game win streak has seen their PDO creep up.
Newcastle, a pretty good shots team are starting to have issues with PDO again, just as they had last year. Could be personnel or tactics or things we can't account for - luck, non-luck, locations, whatever, Zzzzz.

Zone Time
Really simple stat: how much time has each team spent in the offensive/neutral/defensive zones. Take how many minutes each team has spent in each zone and turn it into a per game number.
Man City are the best offensive and defensive zone team in the league. Chelsea are second best in both categories.
Whatever it is that Liverpool are excelling at, it's simply not captured when looking at zone time.

Final Third Passing
Take final third passes for and final third passes against, put them into a spreadsheet and we can create the chart below.
Again, Liverpool look odd by this metric. Score effects play some part, but tactical setup and a love for the blitzkreig counter mean Liverpool are not racking up the passes in the final third. And that is fine, Liverpool's tactics are working, so far.
