The reward for beating Chelsea yesterday for Manchester City is a home tie in the FA Cup quarter-finals against Wigan.
The tie provides plenty of sub-plots of course, being a re-match of the 2013 final that saw City stunned through Ben Watson's injury-time winner and sees the return of fan favourite Uwe Rosler, now the Wigan manager.
It is an advantageous draw for City being at home and in addition to avoiding a Premier League side, we are guaranteed at least one non-Premier League side guaranteed in the semi-final as well.
Quarter-final draw: Arsenal or Liverpool v Everton, Brighton or Hull v Sunderland, Sheffield United or Nottingham Forest v Sheffield Wednesday or Charlton, Manchester City v Wigan Athletic.
