2014/15 Player Expectations
Expectations For 14/15: Fernando
The signing of an octopus should give Man City more flexibility and midfield options. His arrival could also free Toure from any defensive options.
Expectations For 14/15: Yaya Toure
Birthdays, Bugatti's and bereavement. Oh, and crazy agents. It was a weird, sad, and at times, perplexing summer regarding Yaya Toure and his future at Man City. Thankfully all things have reached a happy conclusion and we can move forward with, arguably, Manchester City's most valuable player from the 2013/14 season.
Expectations For 14/15: Aleksandar Kolarov
Kolarov may have changed hiss number to that of a left winger (11), somewhat emulating the great Sinisa Mihajlovic, but I wouldn't expect too much to change in terms of the Serbian's playing style or performance.
Expectations For 14/15: Eliaquim Mangala
Man City#s newest signing, and, depending on who you read, a fantastically expensive one at that.
Expectations For 14/15: Gael Clichy
Is Clichy the first choice left back? Will Clichy again share time with Kolarov? Or will one player beat out the other to be the undisputed #1 left back?
Expectations For 14/15: Martin Demichelis
"Old, slow, donkey, JCB, waste of money, out of his depth, past it, sell him" and Man City's best center back by the seasons end.
Expectations For 14/15: Matija Nastasic
A fine prospect who had an outstanding debut season at the age of just 19. Then came the second season slump, then the rumours of injury problems, the on-field struggles with new systems, and now, a potential exit from the club.
Expectations For 14/15: Pablo Zabaleta
A workhorse who has gradually improved his game is now one of Man City's most vital players.
Expectations For 14/15: Vincent Kompany
Captain. A rock. #1 center back. Increasingly worrisome injury problems.
Expectations For 14/15: Willy Caballero
What can we expect from Willy Caballero in the 14/15 season?
Expectations For 14/15: Joe Hart
A sincere tip of the hat to the imperious Lowetide
