Pablo Zabaleta signs four-year deal

It may be old news to you all, but we need to celebrate the contract extension signed by Pablo before yesterday's opener. 

The Argentinean is coming off a spectacular season where he was not only an essential member of our squad, but was named the Etihad Player of the Year for the 2012/2013 campaign. Since 2008, Pablo has made 175 appearances and scored 8 goals. The four-year deal will keep Pablo in sky blue until the 2017 season, and upon signing the deal the defender told mcfc.co.uk "I have been here for five years and it feels like home. Signing a contract extension with the club makes me very happy.”

Well, I know one thing for sure, I am just as happy as he is, and as the saying goes “Always be yourself, unless you can be Pablo Zabaleta, then always be Pablo Zabaleta.”
