We can all breathe a sigh of relief. Yaya Toure has signed a new deal which will keep him at the club until 2017.

Per the official MCFC website:

"This is where I want to be," declared Yaya. "When I first arrived at City every time I went to sleep I would dream about us winning something; now it is about us being the best team in whatever competition we take part in."

Toure has been an integral part of Roberto Mancini's plans since the moment he arrived for 24 million pounds in 2010, and he is looking forward to future challenges at City.

"We must try to finish on a high note and then start preparing to win more next season! Football is always a challenge and always a puzzle to solve and that is why we all love the game."

Thoughts? The rest of Yaya's interview can be seen here on the official website.
