Once we remove blocked shots we see that some teams have swapped a place or two.

The big teams are still, well, the big teams. Newcastle look good at FenClose.

PDO

Arsenal's silly, and very high, save% is powering that PDO. Man City's scoring% is gonna come down but City's underlying dominance in terms of shots on target share should cushion some of the scoring% drop.

Tottenham and Palace's PDO numbers are creeping back towards that mean. #regression

SoT Rating

A really simple set of stats:

SoT% For= Shots On target for/Total Shots for

SoT % Prevention= 100-SoT Against/ Shots Against

SoT% Rating= Add the two numbers together. Think of it as a shots on target PDO

SoT%For average is 32.6%.

The top 4 teams are miles ahead of the rest of the league and that gap is caused by crazy high SoT% for numbers.

Loads of info to look through in this chart but something crazy stands out. Like, crazy. And that something is called West Brom's PDO v West Brom's SoT% Rating.

The numbers couldn't be further apart. One stat (SoT% rating captures efficiency in regards to shot accuracy while the other stat (PDO) captures efficiency in terms of conversion percentages of those shots on target
