Lots and lots of changes to the squad then. It is basically the 'shadow' team. Though, I'm sure we are all relieved to see David Silva back in the lineup and this will be a good chance for him to get back into match fitness. I like starting the trio of Fernandinho, Javi Garcia, and James Milner together for this one, provided Milner plays in the middle. Bayern are fielding a pretty strong side, but who knows how much stock either team is really going to put into the match. If City somehow win by a 2 goal margin greater than 3-1, we'll top the group, though winning by that line at Bayern Munich is probably akin to the USA getting out of the group next summer in Brazil (still feeling miserable about that draw).
Anyways, there are a few other quality games on today, with Mancini's Galatasaray hosting Carlos Tevez's Juventus being a particularly interesting one. Can Bobby get the Turkish side out of the group? Will Tevez pop up and score the goal to send Juve through? Sure to be some interesting headlines out of that match.
