I normally very much dislike annoying international breaks, but given what was on the line with World Cup qualification and such, this past break was actually pretty fun to watch. Particularly the CONCACAF games (I still can't believe we helped Mexico). Anyways, City return to action today against West Ham, who, if you guys have been reading shuddertothink's articles lately (you should, they're good for the soul), have had quite a stingy defense thus far. Should be an interesting match.
Lineups are in:

TEAM: West Ham United: Jaaskelainen, Demel, Rat, Tomkins, Reid, Noble, Morrison, Diame, Vaz Te, Downing, Nolan (c)

First thought: Stewart Downing is starting. Haha. I don't know how he's been doing this season, but that's still a funny and welcome sight to me. Second: Pellegrini has once again opted for Javi Garcia in defense next to Matija Nastasic. I would have preferred Lescott, but it's not the end of the world. Otherwise, the lineup is essentially as expected.
