New, comments

A quick round-up of today's press conference with Roberto Mancini:

  • Sergio Aguero's injury is not as bad as first feared; Mancini quoting 'three or four weeks' and expects him back after the international break.
  • Joe Hart has fully recovered from his back injury.
  • Gareth Barry will feature for the EDS tonight and will likely play forty-five minutes. Mancini views the newly created under-21 league as important for the development of young players.
  • Liverpool are a 'strong team' who he expects to be amongst the challengers for the title.
  • As for the transfer window, Mancini says City are 'working' and expects City to 'get what they want', although the fee for Javi Martinez is too high. He also played down speculation linking Nigel de Jong, Adam Johnson and Edin Dzeko with moves away from the club.
