The scenario is simple: City have to win have a chance of 'progressing' to the Europa League. Draw or lose, they're out. If they win they then have to hope that Ajax don't win against Real Madrid.
Or would City be better off not qualifying, as damaging as it would be to their UEFA coefficient?
