Despite the first half goals there were a lack of scoring chances as City led just 3-1 at the break. After the second half it as far wilder with both sides improving their tally and City having the better of things 6-3 to outchance Norwich 9-4 overall.
City surpassed the 200 chances mark on Saturday and now outchance opponents 208-84, which translates as 10.4-4.2 per game. City, however, currently need 5.47 chances per goal but are conceding only 4.42 per goal allowed.
Individually, it was about two players: Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko, the latter who got the goals but the former who led the way with a +6 rating. Yaya Toure was a +3 and David Silva a +2, whilst Vincent Kompany was a threat from set pieces and ended a +3 on the day.
