Discussing the Champions League....
- Joleon Lescott, Micah Richards, Jack Rodwell, James Milner, Maicon and David Silva are all ruled out of tomorrow's game.
- Mancini conceded it is the side's 'last chance' and that the side need to improve but feels he retains the support of the owners.
- He feels the side - not the individual players - need more time to adjust to the competition though nd that they are 'not ready' to win the competition.
- Although mistakes in what is a tough group have cost the side dear, but he accepts responsibility for the performances and results.
But approximately six minutes in, Mancini is asked a question about his comments from Friday's press conference regarding talks last season with Monaco. A less than happy Mancini responds, rather animatedly:
"You should have respect for the people sometimes. I don't understand why you have to ask me this, why? You ask me one question, I'm polite because I answered your question and the other questions. I'm polite because I answer: 'It's true' [regarding Monaco]. Every year I can have two or three new situations where I can go, I want to stay here because I work hard. I am not saying the future will be easy but when you have a new team the strong work is the first two years and we have won three trophies. I think you should have more respect for this, for me, for the club, for the players."
