They may have left it late and in the end squeezed past Tottenham by just the one goal courtesy of Edin Dzeko's late strike but in terms of the scoring chances from the game, City dominated.
- Over the course of the game City created 10 scoring chances to Tottenham's three, their second half dominance shown by the fact they only held a 3-2 lead at the break. City have now outchanced opponents 115-48 in games this season.
- It was two players in particular - Sergio Aguero and the returning David Silva - who dominated for City, registering a +6 and +5 respectively and it was Silva's involvement for the crucial winner when his perfectly weighted teed up Dzeko for the winner. Dzeko, on the pitch for just 17 minutes registered a +3 rating.
- A couple of low numbers stood out: Carlos Tevez with a +1 and Yaya Toure with a 0.
- City also once again were the architects of their own downfall on the goal, with three players - Joe Hart, Aleks Kolarov and Yaya Toure - all receiving a minus mark for Steven Caulker's opener.
