Hart - Made one smart save low to his right but on the whole a comfortable afternoon. 7

Boyata - Filled in capably at right-back and for the most part kept Malouda and Cole quiet. 7

Kolo Toure - A potential shaky moment with Joe Hart aside, another solid display. 7.5

Kompany - On top of his game at the moment. Simply isn't putting a foot wrong. 9

Zabaleta - An asset going forward, linking well with Milner down the left. Picked up his customary booking. 7

de Jong  - Better and better as the game went on. As much of an influence in the side as anyone. 8.5

Barry - Stats show he completed every one of his forty-two passes. In a rich vein of form at present and vital in helping win the midfield battle. 8.5

Yaya Toure - A more advanced role showed another dimension. Carried the ball forward on a number of occasions in support of Tevez and Silva. 8

Milner - Plenty of leg work down the left, often in tandem with Zabaleta. Perhaps could have cut inside to greater effect. 7

Silva - Flitted across the front line. Showed some smart touches and not put off by some of the heavier challenges. 7.5

Tevez - A very good performance considering he was isolated and often double-teamed. Took his one and only opportunity. 7.5

Johnson - Struggled to assert himself on the game. 6

Adebayor - Ran hard for the final few minutes. 6

Boateng - A belated debut. Will take a little while to get up to speed. 6
