Zabaleta - Beaten by Bale too often and struggled to influence the game going forward. 6
Bridge - Lennon didn't enjoy too productive an evening so defensively ok. Didn't offer much in attack. 6
Toure - Struggled against Crouch in the air but tried hard to rally the side late. 6
Kompany - Like Toure, impressive in possession but unable to contain Crouch for long. 6
de Jong - Tigerish, tenacious and strong in the tackle. Job well done yet again. 7.5
Barry - A composed evening, doesn't put a foot wrong but lacked creativity. His injury was a blow. 7
Johnson - A bright spot. Saw plenty of the ball and his patience and decision making were good. 7
Bellamy - Had the beating of Kaboul on occasion but struggled to maintain influence. 6.5
