Following the trend of locking up Academy graduates on long term deals, the club announced that Alex Nimely has signed a new four year contract with the club.
Highly rated Nimely made his debut in the victory over Burnley a few week ago and spoke to the official site after agreeing the contract extension:
“It’s a great day for me and my family,” said Alex, who turns 19 in a fortnight. “To come from a country so far away and get to this stage is fantastic.
“Obviously my parents are very proud and I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me, particularly the coaches at the Academy who have really helped me over the past few years.”
