City in reported takeover

MANCHESTER City has been reportedly taken over by the Abu
Dhabi Group for Development and Investment.
Thaksin Shinawatra has been
looking for new investment and a deal was struck on Sunday evening, report
Arabian Business.
The group will be represented on the board by Hydra
Properties chief Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim.
Fahim said: "We will release details
later, but this is a great event for both the club and Abu Dhabi.
"Our goal
is very simple - to make Manchester City the biggest clup in the Premier League,
and to begin with, to finish in the top four this season."

>>MEN.

Apparantly Sky Sports News are all over this in the last half an hour or so. Not much else around the media as yet but I'm sure more will come out over the rest of today.
