-Sky Sports.Manchester City have handed a trial to Swedish starlet Kristoffer Wiktorsson.
Sven Goran Eriksson brought in several experienced players over the summer but he is also planning for the long-term future of the club.
His scouts have been impressed by 18-year-old Wiktorsson, who currently plays for Swedish second division club Degersdorf.
The defensive midfielder has now been invited to train with the City squad for four days and is hoping to make an impression.
