Manchester City fan favorite Joe Hart will reportedly be sold for £15 million upon his return from a loan spell at Serie A club Torino. Joe has been linked to multiple Premier League clubs, most strongly to Liverpool, who are in search of a long term keeper, or Chelsea, who could lose Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid this summer.
Since Hart was replaced by Chilean international Claudio Bravo, fans have been left with a bitter taste in their mouths. Claudio has made several significant mistakes since his arrival at the Etihad, further saddening the supporters over the departure of their favorite shot stopper.
Although a £15 million price tag appears low, selling the England International before his contract runs out in eighteen months time would be the most ideal option for City.
The 29-year-old simply does not fit into the system Pep Guardiola wants to implement at the club. As hard as that is to swallow, the supporters must see the bigger picture. To move forward as a club, City needs the right players to bolster Pep’s new tactical system.
