Argentine midfielder Bruno Zuculini is currently on loan at Rayo Vallecano from Manchester City, however reports suggest that the player will be recalled and sent to Italian club Verona for the rest of the season. Verona is in the market for a midfielder and Zuculini would replace their recently retired star Enzo Maresca.
Zuculini would join until the end of the current campaign to aid Verona in their efforts to remain on top in Serie B and return to the highest league of Italian football.
Zuculini is currently on his fifth loan spell since joining City in 2014. His chances of one day breaking into the first team at the Etihad are looking more slim with every year that passes. Younger talents such as Aleix García and Oleksandr Zinchenko will make it substantially more difficult for the Argentine to be successful in a Sky Blue shirt.
No matter what the future holds, we shall wish Zuculini the best of luck in Italy should rumors of the move come true.
