We all hate the international break as club football fans, but the players do love to represent their countries. And two Manchester City stars have earned a call to the Spanish national team.

David Silva and Nolito have been called up by coach Julen Lopetegui for the next two Spain matches in the European Qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup, against Italy (October 6) and Albania (October 9). The clash with the Italians is a rematch from their Euro 2016 quarterfinal encounter, where Antonio Conte's side beat Spain 2-0 and ended Vicente Del Bosque's reign as La Roja manager.
Since Lopetegui came in, David Silva has been a key piece of the squad. He started and dominated both Spain games so far under the new coach, scoring twice against Belgium and getting another brace along with a Man of the Match performance in the fantastic 8-0 win over Lichtenstein earlier this month. Nolito is yet to play a big part for Lopetegui, but that could change this time around.
