I didn't realize the formatting on my last post would be so screwed up. So here's my second shot at posting the potential pots for the upcoming UCL. The groups are based on current UEFA co-efficients and presume that no upsets occur in the qualifying stages.
POT 2: Schalke, BVB, Juventus, PSG, Shakhtar, Zenit, CITY!
POT 3: Bayer Leverkusen, Olympiakos, CSKA Moscow, Ajax, Napoli, Liverpool, Sporting Lisbon, Galatasary
POT 4: Atheltic Bilboa, Anderlecht, Lille, Copenhagen, Roma, Standard Liege, Besiktas, Monaco
What say you about potential matchups, fellow Blues? In my opinion, the nightmare scenerio is drawing Real/Barca/Bayern out of Pot 1; Napoli from Pot 3; and Monaco/Roma from Pot 4. I think a group of Real, City, Napoli, and Monaco would be one of the toughest groups in the history of the competition....even more difficult than 2012-13 Group of Death (Real, BVB, Ajax).
The best scenerio in my opinion is Benfica/Porto from Pot 1; Olympiakos from Pot 3; and Copenhagen from Pot 4. The Pot 4 teams appear stronger than in years past. Thoughts?
