The method of Strength Of Schedule is really easy to understand: for every team listed below I recorded their opponents Points Per Game or TSR or PDO etc at the time of fixture - for all fixtures played so far - and turned those numbers into an average.
Example: An example: Arsenal have 29 games worth of opponents data loaded into my database, for each fixture we take their opponents number in each category immediately prior to that fixture and create an average from all 29 (or 30) games of opposition data. By doing this we gain a rough idea on the strength of schedule for each stat.

Some of the metrics listed above have greater meaning than others. Discovering how strong the oppositions PDO average is for a particular teams fixture list won't tell us all that much. But looking at how difficult a teams fixture list has been using TSR or SoTR likely tells us a little more about the strength of opponents faced so far.
These numbers will likely change somewhat by the seasons end.
