Week 20 (Sortable Tables)

All tables set to Close Game State.

TSR

Man City's shots numbers have dipped in recent weeks - coasting, a lot of time spent winning, fatigue - but that has meant the gap between City and the chasing pack has closed slightly in this TSR table.

Man United are a sub 50% team at Tied. 8th at Tied, 9th at Close, 9th at Total. These are not good numbers, this is not a good team. This isn't Man United as we know it.

PDO

Arsenal maintain a save% which is out of keeping with the league average and expected regression. City are doing the same with their scoring%. United post a decent PDO and it's a good job they have considering their poor shots numbers.

Southampton's PDO is sinking, Tottenham's is on the march. Man City still have plenty of regression left in both scoring% and save%.

Shot Rate At Close Game States

An explanation: This table shows us what happens if we takes each clubs shots +/- at each of the game states and factor in how much time that club has spent at each of the game states. Once we have those two pieces of information we can produce this table which is Shots +/- (per90).

The tied +/-'s are the most trustworthy here given their far larger sample size. Certain clubs (good ones) have spent few minutes at minus 1 thus we see some teams post strange numbers. Ditto at plus 1 for the poor teams.
