Full List Of Manchester City Summer Transfers

After a breathless climax yesterday to the 2012 summer transfer season it's time to take a look at the full list of in's, out's and loan deals that took place.

Join me after the jump and we shall try and figure out who all these players are.

IN (Senior Players):

Javi Garca (25) from Benfica (£16,000,000)
Jack Rodwell (21) from Everton (£12,000,000)
Matija Nastasic (19) from Fiorentina (£10,000,000)
Scott Sinclair (23) from Swansea (£6,200,000)
Maicon (31) from Internazionale (£3,000,000)
Richard Wright (34, free transfer)

£47.2 m

This looks like a fairly strong list with some good signings. We have experience in Maicon, potential in Nastasic and some ready to play signings such as Javi Garcia and Sinclair.

OUT (Senior Players):

Adam Johnson -> Sunderland (£10,000,000)
Emmanuel Adebayor -> Tottenham (£5,000,000)
Nigel de Jong -> AC Milan (£3,500,000)
Vladimir Weiss -> Pescara (£1,300,000)
Stefan Savic -> Fiorentina (part exchange)
Greg Cunningham -> Bristol City (undisclosed)
Owen Hargreaves -> released
Stuart Taylor -> released -> Reading

Some of the dead wood was dispatched. Albatross contracts such as Bridge, Santa Cruz and Adam Johnson were removed form the clubs wage bill.

Quality, experienced performers in De Jong and Adebayor were sold for low amounts. If I were a Spurs or AC Milan fan I'd be happy with those signings. Johnson for £10m is a great sale.

Roque Santa Cruz -> Malaga
Wayne Bridge -> Brighton
Dedryck Boyata -> FC Twente
Harry Bunn -> Crewe Alexandra
Ryan McGivern -> Hibernian
Mohammed Abu -> Rayo Vallecano
Omar Elabdellaoui -> Feyenoord
Abdisalam Ibrahim -> Strømsgodset
Bismark Adjei-Boateng -> Strømsgodset
Enock Kwakwa -> Strømsgodset

Santa Cruz and Bridge are dead contracts and no other solution could be found for either player.

There a couple of youth players whom were loaned whom I have never heard of. Any ideas on Bismark Adjei-Boateng?

IN (Youths):

Vlad Marin (17) from Lazio (undisclosed/compensation)
Jules Ntcham (16) from Le Havre (undisclosed/compensation)
Myles Beerman (13) from Floriana Nursery (undisclosed)

Ntcham is reportedly a very good prospect. Lazio were upset enough to threaten to lodge a complaint with Uefa over Man City's poaching of Marin.

OUT (Youths):

Joan Angel Roman -> Barcelona B (£880,000/compensation)
Gai Assulin -> released -> Racing Santander
Ahmad Benali -> released -> Brescia
Andrea Mancini -> released -> Real Valladolid B
Sean Tse -> released -> South China AA
Tom Smith -> released
George King -> released
Paul Clowes -> released -> Clemson Soccer (USA)
Luke Coulson -> released -> University of Michigan (USA)
Tom Halsall -> released -> Lee University (USA)
Callum Harris -> Blackburn Rovers
Tom Williams -> released
Lee Warren -> released
Shihad Islam -> released

A lot of young players here on this list. I quite like the idea of some of these youngsters moving to the US to get a college roster spot and an education.

Overall, Man City had a very good summer of transfer dealings. Dead wood was moved on, some young players and in Maicon and Garcia we brought in two quality players who improve the talent level of the City squad.
