Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting Wesley Sneijder has signed for Manchester City for 31 million pounds.

Reports are that the Dutch playmaker with play his last game with Inter Milan in Beijing on Sunday, and then fly to England to sign the contract.

Sneijder was previously linked to Manchester United.

We can dream.

For those on Twitter, it is worth checking the timeline of both @marcotti and @karlsentk for some background on the veracity of the reports and @DuncanCastles who should have more updates as the evening progresses.
