Playmaker's Delight - Sneijder, Nasri, or other

Sneijder_medium

With the recent acquisition of one Sergio "Kun" Aguero from Atletico Madrid, City have continued to live up to their self-proclaimed title of the "noisy neighbors" in Manchester.  Even though a couple of notable strikers such as Adebayor or Santa Cruz are still technically on the books, their expected departure means that four main strikers remain at the club; Carlos Tevez, Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko, and Sergio Aguero.

With the Champions League campaign waiting, there is no such thing as "too many strikers."  City have remained firm in their asking price of 50 million euros for Carlos Tevez for European clubs.   This is an intelligent decision on the part of club ownership since they recognize that the crafty Argentine still brings incredible value to the table both in his skill-set and in monetary sense.  Dumping him off and taking a financial hit makes no sense at the moment for a club still trying to form its identity and come together as a team.

Even if Tevez does depart, Aguero's style, skill-set, and sheer history should make him a worthy successor based on statistics;

Agüero

Games – 32
Goals – 20
Assists – 2
Minutes played – 2676
Shots on Target – 55
Shots off Target – 49

Tévez
Games – 31
Goals – 20
Assists – 6
Minutes played – 2532
Shots on Target – 45
Shots off Target – 41

With all of these strikers comes the question of who will support them up front and "feed the proverbial goats."  In recent weeks talks have intensified over a possible swap move between Inter Milan for the classic ten, Wesley Sneijder with City providing Tevez, and possible cash considerations in return.  Does this make sense for City?

With Aguero at the club, an incredibly similar style of player, it might be prudent for City to target a playmaker to act as the supporting cast behind such a lineup of force in the front.  All three strikers (considering Tevez leaves) are incredibly talented and still very much young.  If City play their cards right and add another Silva type of player, or even a more assist oriented playmaker, they could unleash the force that even Rooney has recently stated is starting to worry everyone around the EPL.

Our poll question is:

Which, if any, playmaker should City target?
