Perthe BBC, youngster Ben Mee will link up with Championship side Burnley for the 2011/12 season:

Burnley have taken Manchester City's England U21 defender Ben Mee on a season-long loan, manager Eddie Howe's first summer signing.

The 21-year-old made his City debut in last season's Carling Cup and impressed during a loan spell at Leicester, making 15 Championship appearances.

Mee has only made fleeting appearances for City to date and it remains to be seen whether he will make the grade at Premier League level but a season long loan in the Championship (on the back of last seasons spell at Leicester) will stand him in good stead regardless.
