Yaya move could be close

Despite being on World Cup duty with Cote d'Ivoire, a strong rumour doing the rounds suggests that Yaya Toure could be set to join the club over the next few days, with comments from the players agent Dimitri Seluk being heavily reported by both the MEN and Daniel Taylor in this piece in The Guardian:

"I think we will probably close his departure very soon." Toure's agent, Dmitri Seluk, said today. "It is likely to be this week but at the moment we can't announce anything."

Taylor suggests that a fee in the region of £25 million has been agreed, with the club having beaten off Chelsea for his services, with the player set to join what appears to be a very crowded midfield for 2010/11.
